70.70.70. Israeli Artists in Santa Barbara
The exhibition, initiated and curated by Sagi Refael (a Squire Artist in Residence Spring 2018) and Santa Barbara local Lynn Holley, introduced a total of 70-emerging, mid-career and established working artists in three different venues over the course of three months. This exhibition is the result of a collaboration between The Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara (Art@theJCC), SBCAST (Santa Barbara Center for Arts, Science & Technology) and GraySpace Gallery. This major group-exhibition of Israeli art in Santa Barbara celebrates the occasion of the 70th Anniversary/Independence Day of the State of Israel, which was formed on May 14, 1948.
