According to the traditional definition of art, an artwork is a unique, graphic or sculptural work of art that was made by an artist. Contemporary artworks are also characterized by the growing number of ephemeral artworks. In addition, more and more artists are combining different mediums and techniques, as evidenced by the Neo-Pop artists Jeff Koons and Takashi Murakami.
