Creativity and Procrastination

Creative people have a deep appreciation for beauty, and they see it everywhere. They love to surround themselves with beautiful things and to express beauty through their work. They are able to get inspired by almost anything, but they often struggle with finding the right timing to do it. They can be real procrastinators, especially when it comes to projects that require a lot of concentration or focus.

Creatives are very sensitive and often feel the pain of others more deeply than most people. They are not afraid to show their vulnerability and tenderness, which makes them great listeners and healers. They have had a lot of trauma and hardship in their life, but they use it as fuel for their creativity instead of feeling victimized by it.

While most people tend to be one or the other, creatives are a mixture of both extrovert and introvert. They are comfortable in crowds but also enjoy quiet solitude, and they can switch between these two modes quickly when needed. They are highly observant of their surroundings and notice details that most other people miss. This is where they pull a lot of their inspiration from, but it can also be their biggest downfall because they are easily distracted by things around them. Creatives are able to balance this by using specific rituals and routines to avoid getting too distracted.

The most important thing that creatives do to keep their energy high is to mix up their experiences and try new things. They know that diversity of experience is key for their creative flow, and they try to avoid anything that will make their lives more routine or monotonous.

Creativity is a messy process, and it takes a lot of brain power to maintain. It’s not uncommon for creatives to feel overwhelmed by their emotions and experiences, so they have to be able to juggle seemingly contradictory thoughts. They are able to activate and deactivate the brain networks that control cognition, emotion, and motor skills and can toggle between them to create their desired result.

Many creative people are a bit of a rebel against the status quo. They are nonconformists and like to challenge the norm, but they also respect the shoulders of those who have come before them. This is how they are able to bring new ideas and perspectives to the world.

They are open to criticism and are willing to change their ideas based on feedback. This can be difficult to do, but it allows them to stay fresh and not be afraid of failure. They believe that the only way to success is through continuous learning and growth.

Overall, creative people are energetic and tenacious. They are able to balance their feminine and masculine traits, allowing them to be sensitive and nurturing (often labeled as feminine), as well as assertive and dominant (often labeled as masculine). They are able to move forward with their ideas even in the face of criticism and rejection. This can be called pigheadedness or optimism, but it is necessary to achieve success in the creative world.
